Weekend Edition : Holiday Additions

With all of the holiday hustling, I really haven't had a chance to mention an excellent holiday concept conspired by Flaming Fire frontman, Patrick Hambrect and other talented artists. It's a month long exhibit entitled Eternal Christmas, like all things that Patrick does,  this event is an eccentric combination of art, music, and mayhem (which is humbug spelled backwards).   This weekend,  and into the new decade, there will be live performances, dance parties, holiday readings, a pot-luck christmas party, and even live WFMU broadcast and sandwich making contest this Monday ! Does anyone know how to make an avant garde on rye ? http://www.eternalchristmas.org/.

If you prefer tuna on pumpernickel, J City Theater presents the reindeer-shun of a Tuna Christmas. Taking it's name and setting from the Texaes town of Tuna, this comedy gives more than a good dusting to a town squarely south of the North Pole. The show runs tonight and through this weekend at The Underground Theater at St. Michael’s Church (252 9th St.). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online here

Finally, equal parts Christmas and Halloween, Tim Burton's, The Nightmare before Christmas plays tonight (R) at the Warehouse, for their final Movies on the Wall of 2009.  Although both holidays are favorites for children, the movie is not meant for a strolled based clieintelle. The movie is free and starts at 7:30pm.

With one week to go until x-day, you can follow the hords to the malls and big stores, or follow big shoppers like Scarlett Johansen, to Another Man's Treasure. The lovely Starlette and Liev Schreiber adorn the upcoming Time Out : Holiday Shopping Guide. You can keep your shopping local , by gifting from the only town that sells I love JC shirts (available at Nine Lives Skate Shop). Make your grandma's outfit complete with a modern day sweater (aka a hoodie)  from Jersey City Tattoo . If Made in Jersey City name is what want, check out this Friday's Creative Grove market of local artists and vendors.

Holiday Reassess

It's Holiday Overdrive week. Toy Drives, Food Drives, Holiday Parties, maybe it is no wonder that so much eating and drinking takes place during December ? I don't know, and I am not going to wax poetic about it either cause I have got Holiday Parties, Toy Drives, and Food Drives to get ready for.

As you are figuring out how to regift those scented candles from your Secret Santa, I'll be shoveling off the snow from my holiday record collection for this week's sleighful of parties in the Bar-muda Triangle (The inescapable area within the boundries of the White Star, Lucky Seven's and the Lamp Post).  Personally, I'll be hosting Thurdsay Night's Bro's Before Ho's at the Lamp Post. Just in time for Christmas, we will be rebranding this nights edition as Bro's before Ho Ho Ho's. Expect a couple of mikes for some Karaoke Karoling, and really, we will roast some nuts.  On Friday, you can enjoy a White Christmas at the White Star. The Big Man, aka Santa, aka one of the massive dudes who plays for White Star Softball Team will be there, with presents and shots. I'll be decking the halls with music. On Saturday Night, DJ Kris Kringle and special guests spin for Lucky Sevens' Holiday Party. Don't worry kids, Santa likes to binge drink and will also be on hand to give out presents and offer some of that coveted laptime that kids under 12 get at the Mall.  Saturday Night is also the last night of DJ Leonard Smalls and Luycky 7's donation drive for the York Street Project, so please a baby related item.  On Sunday, I'll at Porto to spin for a Hygene High Jinx party for St. Lucy's Shelter. Please bring one to three toiletry products to be donated to St. Lucy's Homeless Shelter.

NOTE :  If you have children, and/or don't like your Santa to smell like Jameson, hit the Farmers Market at the Grove Street PATH on Thursday from 4 to 6 pm. Saint Nick will be there and sober.

Well that's my schedule,  let's take a look at the rest of the league and don't worry there friends,  there is plenty of missletoe to go around. Tonight's (T) Babyhole at the Lamp Post is guess what ?  yes a holiday themed party. Melissa is really going with shipping in the canned laughter and asked that you bring some canned food for tonight's event.  At Lucky's,  Kagero, who play a Japanese Gypsy Rock,  is actaully debuting there new CD,  Japanese Gypsy Rock, fellow Montclairions, the McMickle Brothers will be on hand play and work the merch booth.  Due to a holiday related, Frosty the Snowman meltdown I had, Rocker Tycoon Zak Clark will spin afterwards.

On Friday Night, Tris McCall debuts his new EP, Let the Night Fall, at Piano's on Ludlow Street in NYC. Tris will personally stuff your stocking with a FREE copy that evening, or,  you can go pick one up at his apartment. They are free, but Tris is charging $7 to open his front door. On stage,  Tris is sandwiched between Palomar at 10 pm, and the Midnight Show, who play at 8 pm (Hey.  it's only a band name folks get with it)

On Saturday Night, Miss Ohio and Blood,  Guts and Beer play at the Lamp Post. Don't be fooled by other imitations, The Lamp Post is Jersey City's premiere rock venue.

NOTE: Singer Songwriter Night will be on holiday until January.

While the elves ready the reindeers draw Santa's sled through the sky, you can draw yourelf to Paul Vincent Studios life drawing class tonight (T) in Hoboken.  LITM's drawing club meets tonight and every Tuesday. This Thursday, life drawing returns to downtown Jersey City at the newly opened Jersey City Art School, The school, opened by Thomas J Carlson earlier this month, is in the space formerly occupied by Hala Vintage on 5th Street. The art school will offer classes taught by local artists, as well as hosting lectures and exhibitions. Go tom, go !

ON A RELATED NOTE : The closing reception for Dana Gannon's Animalia will be this Sunady from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Now back to the music;  DJ Lucha, celebrates a full year at Lucky Seven's this Wednesday Night. Some un masked and masked guest DJ's will be in attendance to help celebrate thus turntable event.  Steff " Street Justice" Kautzmann has the mysterious Harry Dyke Newman spinning at the Lamp Post on Wednesday. Word from my room mate is DJ William McCamie is spinning at Porto Lounge this Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday is always Leonard Smalls' Ladies Night at Luckys. DJ Caligula, has Fridays at the Lamp Post and Saturday Night, Paul Medoza holds the line at LITM. Next Tuesday,  Street Justice spins her own holiday party at Motor City in NYC.

NOTE : Saturday Night's Vinyl Solution at the White Star is on Holiday until Jnauary 9th 2010.

Finally, and before both my blog installement and this year ends. 58 has lined up Thomas Francis Takes His Chances, One West (featuring B. Murph) and the reunion of American Watercolor Movement for New Years Eve.  Along with Decade-Dance Party with Street Justice, Dancing Tony and special guests to close out 09 with.

If anyone knows a Wade Carlson, please have him contact me because we think he took the wrong coat.

Tonight (T), I am spinning at LITM's Small Wonders group show at 7 pm. Zak Clark has my Singer Songwriter shift covered at Luckys. Hopefully, I'll get to stop by Babyhole tonight with time to catch some upset triangle stuff, it may not happen considering this short list of artists at LITM:

saturday evening post

got a couple of updates before you head out.

First and Foremost. I got this emergency email from Patrick from Flaming Fire. he had secured a large warehouse space in brooklyn to put on a grand art show and holiday display. yesterday, after several of the artists had come to town to start this project. the company pulled the space from him. the full email is below. but if anyone has any lead on a storefront-warehouse-gallery space they can use ---contact him patrick(at)flamingfire.com.

Sci Fi Movie , Forbidden Plant is playing at the Loew's Theater Tonight. 7:30 pm.

I believe there is a bar crawl for the Liberty Humane Society Today. If you see any real drunk dogs, just follow them. Click there link to donate if you can't make the crawl.

In addition, I am DJ-ing with Leonard Smalls tonight at Luckys, bring in non perishable canned food or baby items such a formula or diapers for his holiday drive benefiting the York Street Project . Donaters get 50% of there first drink. We start at 10 pm. As a reminder, Hello Again Vintage is offering 10% for your entire purchase items brought for their food drive for the York Street Project.

It's not Larry's Birthday but Rocco's Birthday being celebrated at tonight's Subway Surfers show at the Lamp Post. The play with the Jukebox Zero. As always it's Free

DJ Bill is has the Vinyl Solution covered at the White Star tonight. New works by Joe Waks should be up on the walls.

DJ Auttie McNaughty spins at O'Connell's tonight.

DJ George Fernades aka dj soul's Karma party is next Saturday not this Saturday. Tonight his Global Soul Project is spinning at 143 in the wee hours. DJ's Meagan and Daveed also spin.

Sundays Volleyball is on. My ankle isn't ready but Tracey is setting up the net at noon. I'll be home cooking for Monday's Pagan Thanksgiving Dinner.

on Sunday, Paula Orozco and Art House Productions is hosting The Age Of Stupid Sunday at 4pm and at 8 pm . The Age of Stupid is the new cinema documentary from Franny Armstrong, Director of 'McLibel' and the Producer of the Oscar-winning 'One Day in September'. This enormously ambitious drama-documentary-animation hybrid stars Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055, watching 'archive' footage from 2008 and asking: why didn't we stop climate change while we had the chance?

Jupiter One is back in New York on Tuesday to play the Mercury Lounge.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Saints and Sinners is Friday

from patrick :

Hi,

Flaming Fire has been collaborating with a group of amazing artists who have flown in from all over the country to work on a holiday-themed art installation in a downtown storefront, at the request of a very large, established organization that specializes in bringing "business, culture and artists together" in Brooklyn.
This organization has abruptly informed us that they changed their minds this week, and that the space is gone. I'm currently hosting two artists in my house, a Hollywood film-set designer/architect and a sculptor from Chicago, who expected to begin installing their work on Tuesday.

We are very interested in working with any storefront, arts organization, gallery or loft space that would be interested in hosting a multi-media installation. Our group has already invested thousands of dollars and weeks of collaborative labor into this project, and we can assure you it will be a stunning, beautiful and thought-provoking addition to your space.
If you know of anyone who might be interested, please email me at:
patrick(at)flamingfire.com
Thanks,Patrick

PROPOSAL:

FLAMING FIRE would like to create a holiday installation that explores the mythological and cultural and roots of the holiday season. This would include:* a beautiful window display with original sculptures* an ongoing illustration kiosk, with community members invited to contribute illustrations to the project and upload them to a website online.* an indoor installation that incorporates live projected video, music, dramatic staging, sculpture, artistic lighting, created by cutting-edge NYC professionals.* a winter fitness run through Brooklyn with the Flaming Fire Fitness Band.* local community members would be invited to observe or participate in the creation and performance of this project

MISSION STATEMENT:

Flaming Fire is a Brooklyn-based collective focused on metaphysics in art. Envisioned is a space committed to the active participation of community members in the process of art making. Through a synthesis of performance and ritual, a multi-media environment of sound, sculpture, and theatre provide a basis for an open resource geared towards distinguishing the role of art in our daily lives. Current projects include an illustrated Bible produced by hundreds of participants, and a musical fitness troupe that combines health and music.

WFMU needs $100,000 or someone is going to need a cane or I am going Balls Out

Similarly, Made is with Love has been sharing tables for their monthly communal dinner for three months now, check out this story from the Hudson Reporter.

putting dinner on the table isn't the concern of WFMU, but keeping Jersey City's free form radio station running is the focus of their 24-hour marathon today. click here to donate.

Speaking of manning up, check out the links on the side about, getting involved to make Jersey City, more bike friendly. Local bike tour Easy Riders has an on line petition to get the wheels rolling on providing better, roads, routes, rack, and respect for JC Bikers. Unlike the one party rule nations in vacation places like Myanmar and Sudan, Jersey City has a host of citizen run committees to help get Jersey City get it together. On Thursday, Civic JC as well as the Downtown Neighborhood Coalition and the Height Coalition are hosting a "Call to Service" forum to get local residents involved. The one hour forum begins at 7 pm and being run with the assistance of City Clerk Robert Byrne.

The Jersey Call to Service focuses on four opportunities to serve Jersey City, they are: 1) Serving on an appointed local board or commission; 2) Serving as a neighborhood-level party committeeperson; 3) Becoming a citizen legislator by devising a constructive common-interest proposal and presenting it to a relevant government body; and 4) Serving as a "Citizen Journalist" to report from the frontlines what is happening in City Hall.

Along the same lines, later on Thursday, I will be convening a Bro's before Hoes Convention at the Lamppost. While Leonard Smalls may enjoy the scent of an "Ocean Breeze" candle for Lucky Seven's Ladies Night. I'll be catering to those of us who would rather smell musk. Make sure you bring your set of balls for the $2 domestic draft $3 whiskey shots. In order to provide some type of legitMANcy for this event, I'll be operating as DJ ManthonyVito and alternating my Thursdays with a real man, Chuck from JC Tattoo on this gig.

Ladies do rule, and tonight (W), The Demands, Jahna Rain spins for Street Justice's DTJC Night at the Lamp Post. Jahna's former outfit, Mister Badger plays the Parkside lounge on the 23rd while Jahna's Demanding Friends, The Subway Surfer's celebrate Larry's birthday and play the Lamppost this Saturday Night. This Saturday's Vinyl Solution is also double the wax, in addition to with DJ William McCamie spinning, the White Star is also hosting the artist reception for their new art installation by Joe Waks. Check out his stuff.

While this Saturday, DJ George Soul Fernadez, debuts " Karma" at the La Hacienda (formerly ole on washington street). Dj auttie McNaughty will pump up O'Connell's on Saturday, and Justin case you were wondering, I'll be at Luckys with Leonard Smalls.

Down in New Brunswick this evening (W), The Neutron Drivers play the famed Court Tavern, Thomas Francis Takes His Chances, returns to their old home for two shows this weekend. Friday is at the Court Taverna nd Saturday a Basement Party awaits. TFTHC, plays the Leonard Small Birthday Party at Luckys on the 5th and then the 4th Street Ball at City Hall on December 10th. The Ball is a fundraiser that showcases some of the live art created by at the Festival earlier this year and Will be on display throughout December. Another Man Treasure is planning a fashion show for the event and is looking for some models to wear their wares. You can contact Meika at mail(at)anothermanstreasure.com if yu are interested.

That's it for now....let me get spell checker out

Wednesday night, Rebecca Vallejo plays NYC Flanders House > I'll let her give you the details but did she just say it's on the 44th floor of the New York Times Building ?

I will be performing at the "Flanders House" (I know, one step closer to Belgium), with my great friend and excellent Saxophone player John Snauwaert, and with Jazz masters Roni Ben-Hur and Bob Mover. "Jazz it up with Flanders House "Nov 4th at 8pm The New York Times Building 620 Eighth Avenue, 44th Floorwww.flandershouse.org

The Cuban flavored rock of Delexilio is Live @ Camaradas on Thursday Night. in the heart of El Barrio ( 2241 First Avenue, near the corner of 115 Street, in the Spanish Harlem) They go on at at 10:30pm. Camaradas is a great venue where lots of NYC's cutting edge latin-rock acts are performing. It's a seriously cool place for art, culture, music, and it will catch you off guard with its hipness if you haven't been there yet.

boo with who ?

it already started, i was there, costume stores, haunted houses, and the stress of what should i be for Halloween, thankfully, i already know, now i just need some foam. If you haven't picked up your pumpkin, stop by the farmers market today at the the Grove PATH, bring the kids from 4to 6 pm for some Halloween themed fun and candy.

Thanks to Charles' (aka djLeonard Smalls) run in with a laboratory monkey? really? yes really? Apparently you shouldn't tease testy test monkeys, I guess a similar warning, like don't tap on the fish tank was missing and Charles got bit. He's okay but may not be able to monkey around for his own PJ party now, I've got double dj duty tonight. I am going to start at Lucky Sevens PJ Ladies Night. In order to keep his perfect attendance record in tact ? or maybe he really has gone ape ? Charles is going to come in at 10:30. barring a speedy recovery, and considering her can't dj, cant drink, and has a fever his visit will be brief, try and be there if you wish him well.

After Lucky's, I am heading back to the Lamp Post for my second shift with Steff " Street Justice " Kautmann is for our Bro's before Ho's night. She'll start the night off and we will Zan and Jayna for the rest of the night. At 7 : 30 pm you can catch a different combination on screen at the Warehouse's presentaion of y tu mama tambien . In the big city, Flaming Fire plays a Pagan Halloween Party on Ludlow, this doesn't sound like a bunch of posers either :).

On Friday, aka Cabbage Night, aka Mischeif Night, aka Night of the Fires, the Iron Monkey is organizing a Zombie Pub Crawl. the undead should show up at the Lamp Post at 4 pm-Luckys 6pm- Barrow-8pm O Connells 9:30 pm - Iron Monkey at 11 pm (with bands) (all Bar crawl and Halloween rules apply). If you prefer your bars stationary, there are two great parties to the east and west of us. Closer by far is the Carnival of Souls party in Kearny. Housed in the Freeman building , this 21 and up, Free affair will have room for all of your Souls and Sins. To the East, Rublad presents their own Freaky Friday party, I also hear there is a Danger Party for Halloween. Oh ! It's so hard to compete with those quick and clever city kids.

You won't die if you are in JC on Halloween. But with daylight savings giving us an extra hour you may be come close. Since I am contractually obligated to promote my own party first, here's the full skinny on Part's One and Two of the Ghost of Uncle Joe's Party. Like I said a thousand time, s over we start early so you can drink late and make your of the Halloween Parties.

Parlay Recording Studios , is celebrating the opening if their new incredible 13,000 s/f multi-use film and photo studio facility at 161 2nd Street (right behind Shoprite), with a Halloween Fundraiser. Tigersapien and Aminal play. On a similar note and purpose, JC (recording) Studios, opened up in at 143 Columbus, bands can email pat (citrus37-at-comcast.net to bopok the newly renovated space with 4 climate controled practice room. The studios are located just below, the Lex Leonard Gallery, take a visit after you wind back your clock and Saturday Night.

On Sunday, you can turn back the clock on baseball and visit an exhibition of vintage baseball by The Jersey City Skeeters. at Lincoln Park. My neighbor sent me this darling write up that I shall not attempt to plagiarise:
We play in games with rules established either in the 1860's or the 1900's in vintage old-style uniforms. We play teams from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The team was started a few months ago by David Kerans . Dave is resurrecting the history and legacy of the Skeeters, a team that existed up until the 1930's. We are holding an open scrimmage and batting practice in Lincoln Park West field (on the west side of Route 440) this Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 1-3 P.M. and November 7&8, time to be determined.
Any prospects should contact David Kerans at 646-469-3464 or Peter Harrison at 917-576-7181.
This is a casual event for people that are interested in checking us out. They should not feel intimidated if they haven't played baseball in years. Hell, they'll have the winter to get into shape. They should come out and play ball. We want to get people interested in the team and stoke interest for next season.

On Sunday, Kelly St. Patrick will perform at at Made with Love Organics Sunday Brunch from 1 to 3pm. Their monthly communal dinner just got a nice review.

On Tuesday, I will dj-ing at LITM for Ken Bastard's latest opening. His new work features almost 100 new panels entitled the Machine. From speaking with him last week, this undertaking may be more time consuming than his last opening, in which he painted for 24 hours straight. Someone bring this guys a pillow. Hope to see you there.

Happy Halloween.

I have a DEAD line on today's edition.

Starting a new tradition and maybe a new job ? , Brian Boles, Scrabble Master and Tuesday Night bartender at the Golden Cicada is hosting a trivia night at 9 pm . Pete Crosta interrogates. Here's how he answered my my ?

" Tonight is the Cicada's first attempt at trivia. The format is 4 rounds, 8 questions each (a longer break between rounds 2 and 3). Teams are encouraged - not ridiculously big, of course. The winning team gets a free draft round (awesome). It starts at 9. See you there, Pete "

A much more regularly slated event is Lucky Seven's Singer Songwriter Night. It's Robbie Harnett's birthday party, Tip Canary and Special Guests will help celebrate. Afterwards, I get to spin, and i here there will be some costumed consumptioners. Meanwhile, Singer Songwriter himself Rolando Ramos is at Maxwell's , as part of the people's open mike tonight. over billing

CMJ has rolled into town and luckily for some of our friends, the Jersey City Hotel has a late check out. On Tuesday Night, Jupiter One plays MercuryLounge, Higgins is at the Serious Business Showcase around the corner at Piano's, and The Golden Filter (Steve and Penny's from Lismore's new band) has just returned from Iceland and are playing the Stereogum Showcase at Webster Hall tonight and then play Santos Party House on Saturday Night. back to business as usual ?

Well citizens. the dirty laundry pile keeps on growing here in JC and tonight's (W) Council meeting should be another display of public outcry (and apathy) over the recent modifications to the city council reserved parking spaces. Civictionists, One Jersey City continues to call for the resignation of Councilman Vega and Councilwoman Lopez, and object to the anointing of the Mayors' Special Aide to fill the now vacant Ward B Council spot. Tonight's meeting starts at 6 pm. This event is usually free, but rumours are now circulation that they may start charging an admission fee :) Hold on My mistake here, Jupiter One's show tonight at Radio City Hall is charging.

Free discussion will be on tap at Thursday Night's debate presented by the Left Forum. JC Resident Lenore Hulz, has organized a Presidential Debated Style discussion at Community Church of New York . I can't do the event justice, so here's her listing.

" Left Forum presents a debate between Tom Hayden, legendary 60's activist, founder of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and Progressives for Obama activist, Stanley Aronowitz, distinguished professor of Sociology, union organizer, and author of over 24 books and Cindy Milstein, anarchist organizer, writer and popular educator. These debaters will tackle the particular roles of capitalists’ power within and beyond the Obama campaign and administration -- an analysis found nowhere in Washington politics or mainstream media. Hayden, Aronowitz and Milstein will debate the impact of the power of capitalists as it relates to strategies for building Left alternatives."

After City Hall or Radio City Hall tonight, one of WFMU's finest representatives, DJ Terre T (The Cherry Blossom Clinic), will spin at the Lamp Post for Steff's DTJC night. Terri's show is legendary, hosting great live bands every Saturday from 3 to 6 pm. Terre T, will be assisted by Mike Sin ( no relation to Den-of ) Next Weekend, WFMU hosts their annual record fair from October 23rd to the 25th, just a note too that CMJ and about 1,000 bands roll into town next Tuesday. Hope there are enough couches in Brooklyn :)

Tonight at Lucky's, DJ Sub Babes has Lucky's tonight. His alternating Wednesday Partner, Pat Byrne, DJ Lucha will appear unmasked for this Saturday's Vinyl Solution at the White Star. Leonard Smalls will celebrate Amy's birthday and mark the end of his Pharmaceutical Green Giant Wythe with special guest DJ's. Almost a special guest DJ himself, DJ Alfonse (Cootah) will be spinning at the Lamp Post on Thursday Night.

The Powerhouse Art's District newest business, the Warehouse (based on location not size :) has begun their Movies on the Wall series on Thursday Nights at 7:30. Film lover, and Atelier Productions master Iulian Moise reels out Bonnie and Clyde for this installment. Also on Saturday Night oops i had listed ths as Thursday , Halloween spookiness begins at Made with Love for their opening reception for " Boo Bat and Pumpkin : Illustrations from the Children's book by Ashley Lucas. You can bring the kids for this one :) Made with Love also started serving weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 6 pm. Sundays are coupled with a DJ Vinny from noon to 4 pm. Check out her full schedule here

On Friday Night, Fortoul artists, Isaac Fortoul, Bobby Castaneda and Heather Gargon. will celebrate SOHO's Blue in Green 4th Anniversary. With a sushi chef and award winning sake it's no wonder that Flaunt Magazine (USA) & LUSSW (Japan) will be on hand in this quaint SOHO space. DJ Finesse spins it for you. Also in teh City on Friday Night, Dan Green (Kilsy The Honey Brothers ) plays at Mercury Lounge with Andrew Vladeck and his all-star big band with members of The Honey Brothers, The Prigs, Coulon, and Balthrop, Alabama. Dan's got another gig with the Lone Howdies on Sunday Night at Spike Hill in the Burg. On Sunday Night, Jody Porter the Black Swans plays at Mercury Lounge, Black Swan, Dan Haag, returns with the Campbell Apartment on Monday Night, only to be followed by Jupiter One for Tuesday Night's CMJ Showcase.

In our stage strifed town, Saturday Night has alt-country aka folk\Indie\country Asbury Park's the Amboys and the Front Bottoms at the Lamp Post. DJ Mark-ewok joins Leonard Smalls on Saturday Night.

Sunday is the Hoboken's Art Studio Tour, the one day event runs from noon to 6 pm. Looking to un-do the Jersey City's two day event, Hoboken Art Studio Tour is billed as " A Free City-Wide Self-Guided Walking Tour of Artists’ Studios & Community Gallery Spaces" thanks for the tip, I may hitchhike. You can also visit THE TIME BEING this Sunday . Our take on the convergence of time and place and what constitutes "history". 78 Sussex Street, in Paulus Hook, Downtown Jersey City. 12-4pm. Catalog and small framed prints available. Visit Loura van der Meule's studio.

Jesse buy a mixer.
