Gamble on Your Weekend Plans or The Mayor Goes All in on the Best Mid-Sized City

In addition to trimming costs, Mayor Steven Fulop unveiled a shorter haircut at last night's State of the City address at St. Peter's College. Explaining a vision to rebrand Jersey City as America's Best Mid-Sized City, the Mayor expanded on his administration's plans and actions since his inauguration over 6 months ago to forge a better working relationship with small businesses, provide opportunities for employment and educational opportunities, cultivate the arts community, provide a residents with a safer community as well as other goals.  I'll let the video below tell the rest. With six million dollars being dedicated towards, revitalizing and building new parks, such as the new Barry Park off Garfield Avenue.  The members are the Historic Paulus Hook Association look to inject some other their own money into their park with a Casino Night Fundraiser at Club Base [formerly H"] on Saturday Night.
