JC TRidays

Tonight the group that started this whole fun-asco known as JC Fridays, Art House Productions  gets and early start on the weekend with their signature event The Art House, tonight's featured performer is Peter Debbene, a poet,novelist and comic book writer. 58 is also getting a jump on the JC Friday tonight with a preview of Hiroshi Kumagai's new works.  Brendan Carroll from the Jersey City Independent interviewed Hiroshi about tonight show here. This seasonal will surely have a seasonal purpose,  since no good holiday can't happen with out music, we've set up a Band Bonanza at 58 with The Charlie Afrosheens [530], Fort Courage [7], The Orion Experience [745], The Micks [830], and The One and Nines [915] -Times are sharp- If you would prefer to do your own show Take Your Chances and Head over to 4th Street. On the late side, Piano land has an after - after party til day break. Somewhere in between all of this please make a point to visit Robert Piersanti's Stdio on Pavaonia, in addition to a art work that will surely get your heart flowing, I'm sure he will additionally impress with some live burlesque performances and maybe a sword swallower and an elephant  


Once you Wake up or if you stay up. Get some costummed crafts courtesy of Not Yo Mama's Craft Fair's Happenin' Holiday Hullaloo ! at Art House Productions [also open JC Fridays] Saturday Night, is the DJ Leonard Smalls B-Day party at Lucky Sevens. Aminal [9pm] and Thomas Francis Takes His Chances [10pm] play. Dancing Tony, Scott Free and the Birthday Boys, spin at this event which also DJ Leonard Smalls annual holiday fundraiser. This year's drive is for The Learning Community Charter School www.lccs.org if you want to do this on your own. Also on Saturday the Cicada Radio, The Had Faces Then, Meet/Pause and Holy City Zoo return to the Lamp Post, since being snowed out on Halloween. heckle these guys until you here Pink Triangle.
