Morning x-Press

Thank you again to Fancy Colors, Little,Big, Junestar, and of course you all for coming to last JCFridays benefit for the 58 Longevity Fund. We raised $461. Little,Big plays at the Cake Shop tonight

Tonight (R) at 58 : new works by Orlando Reyes and Keith Van Pelt . Things start at 7. Afterwards we will head over to the White Star for Yoseh Uno's UNO PANTHA ART exhibition with DJ WILLIAM MCCAMIE.  Also if you go uptown: Uptown Crew's Open Mic, Moore's Lounge, 189 Monticello Avenue.  7:30pm sign-up.  $5 admission.

Friday Night. It's a Glitz and Glamour evening for Fouth Street's Annual Ball at City Hall. You don't need to be a member of the Royal Family to come. The ball is FREE, so we ask you to dress nice so you don't look like a moocher :).  On display in the Rotunda Gallery will be the live art curated by Joe Russo this year 4th Street Art and Music Festival. Live Performance by The Ukaladies, Shayfer James and Kelly St. Patrick. Sketch Comedy Short by the Upset Triangle, and the Grand Finale:: A Glitz and Glamour Fashion Show featuring local designers and boutiques.

If dressing up is your thing. Saturday's Santacon is something you need to check out.

On Saturday Night, Downtown Live is hosting a Music and Fare evening. Eldad Tarmu on Xylophone,
Kyle Sandison, The Loyal We, with Land of Look Behind headline. Food by Lucinda Crepes. $20  pick up tickets before hand . At the Lamp Post, Wyldlife [sitting in for Radio Exiles] play with SHAPEs and the Grains at the Lamp Post. Wyldlife returns with Thomas Francis Takes his Chances and Tim, for 58's One by One New Year'e Eve.

ONE NIGHT ONLY! Get down to four great local bands, chug some fantastic local beer, eat delectable treats from the best of our local chefs and bowl the alleys of the Mansion for wicked prizes – all to benefit the Jersey City Food Co-Op and St. Matthew’s Food Pantry.

BAKE SALE: Local chefs will be showing off their skills to bring you some of their best signature dishes and pastries. From established local eateries to the independent yet-known chefs – come eat well and be merry.

BOWLING: Strikes for Prizes – Fill your bowling ticket and throw some boulders to get that elusive S-T-R-I-K-E! The more strikes you get the bigger prizes you can claim at the prize table. How good do you roll?
